        1.       Use The Tools
Our team has compiled the best information available. The tools are here to help you make the best selections for your winning goals.

        2.      Know The Contest
Different contests may have different formats.
Does your contest use Holiday games as seperate weeks like Circa? How big is your contest? Know when it figures to ends or gets to a point where chops and deals can be discussed?

        3.      Know Your Goal
Is your goal to win or is it to survive and see what happens? Is it to survive long enough to sell a piece or your entire entry via Survivor Sweat?  Once you answer these questions you can decide how to make your choices. If you are playing to win and that’s all that matters you may put yourself in some uncomfortable situations by fading big favorites and taking less owned small favorites. If surviving is all that matters you may choose a path with more of the biggest favorites.

        4.      Future Value
Anybody reading this is fully aware that future value is extremely important. Think ahead and map out a path for the entire season.

Planning out the season can turn on its head with one or two major injuries. The way I address future value is trying to give myself the most ways to forge a path despite any situation. Don’t box yourself in. If KC is the Christmas pick in your plan, what if you box yourself in and Mahomes gets hurt? What if you box yourself in and a different Christmas game falls correctly with injuries?

        5.      Have Conviction
If you have 5 entries and you put 1 each on 5 different teams you can never gain on the field. Most likely you end up with 1 entry left and 20 pct of the field left which essentially means you gained no equity increase.

I will be posting my survivor plays and my exposure after picks are submitted on Saturday. Good luck and have fun!

If things don’t work out with your picks, there are opportunities to get skin in the game by purchasing a Sweat on Survivor sweat!
