Congratulations you have made it to the final 5 pct of the Circa Survivor contest and $14 million in your pocket is just a few weeks away. We are entering the Thanksgiving slate of games and we are all ready for the stretch run……well not this year! We are week 4 and that means we are a lot further away from cashing in than in years past. Last year Circa reached 5% in week 11, 2022 on week 7, 2021 on week 10…..that makes this year much different.

How did we get here and why does it matter? We didn’t get here because one or two massively used teams lost. We got here because most of the highly owned teams lost. This may seem like the same thing, but it is not.  If one team lost then there would be a diversion of teams used, but as it stands the teams used are extremely concentrated.

28 pct have Jets available

43 pct have Texans available

52 pct have Seahawks available

70 pct have Bills and Chargers available

Every other team is available to at least 85 pct of the entrants.

If you have Jets, Texans, Seahawks available you are riding higher than most.  You have an opportunity to use a very good team and it is unlikely they will be the highest owned team, the week you choose them. When planning your path make sure you pay extra care for the weeks when you see a concentration on one particular team and if you can pivot to one of these low owned teams.

Both the Texans and the Seahawks play games on the Christmas slate where you may have a wonderful chance to leverage the entire field if things break right. Some think we won’t reach Christmas, but I have to think things will normalize a little moving forward and some of the chalk favorites will win. Playing with a disregard for the holiday slates may seem like a good idea now, but we have to consider there is still a long way to go.

When I’m combing through the Survivor Sweat marketplaces I am definitely focusing my efforts to locate entries that have a combination of at least 2 of Jets, Texans, and Seahawks available. It is also my feeling that many of the entries with Jets or Texans available will use them this week, therefore if you wait one week to shop you just might find an entry with either or both of these teams available and that unicorn could be worth a hefty investment!
